Belliric Myrobalan

As per ayurvedic texts this is a very useful herb but on the religious point of view this tree has been not so much accepted as Hindus avoided was avoided sitting in its shade as it is supposed to be inhabited by demons. This is an herb used as a Rasayana.

Bahera herb is used as astringent & employed in dropsy / piles and diarrhoea. Bahera herb is also used in fever / applied to the eyes / & is useful in sore throat & bronchitis.
